Project Overview

US POWER completed a customized solar system for a homeowner in Chatsworth, CA. The installation was designed to optimise energy generation, integrate smoothly with the home’s existing roof structure, and deliver long-term value through premium equipment and professional installation.

System Specifications & Key Components

• Solar Panels: 26 high-efficiency panels inst_alled on clay tile roofing.
• Mounting System: Clay tile roof-mount using precision tile hooks and flashing to ensure secure attachment and watertight protection.
• Wiring & Conduit: Updated to include detailed wire tags and sizing specifications between the sub panel and the main service panel (MSP), with voltage-rise calculations documented for electrical accuracy.
• Wiring & Conduit: Wire tags and sizing details were added between the sub panel and the main service panel (MSP), including voltage rise calculations.
• Electrical Integration:
  • Sheet ESPV-0 includes the note:
    “Electrical equipment shall be listed by a City of Los Angeles recognized electrical testing laboratory or approved by the department. (93.0402).”
  • Sheets ESPV-0 and ESPV-4 updated to reflect the revised kW AC calculation.
  • Sheet ESPV-4A updated to show wire tags, conductor sizes, and voltage-rise details between the sub panel and the MSP.
