Project Overview:

US POWER completed a full solar installation on a shingle-roof home in West Hills, CA. The system was engineered to maximize energy production while maintaining a clean, low-profile appearance that complements the property’s design.

System Components:

• Mounting System: Tile hook and racking configuration engineered to accommodate concrete tile surfaces without cracking or displacement.
• Solar Panels: 36 Qcells high-efficiency panels (model available upon request) providing reliable, high-output performance and excellent aesthetics.
• Inverters: Paired with Enphase IQ8 series microinverters for module-level optimization, smart grid support, and real-time monitoring.
• Electrical Integration: A new dedicated solar breaker was added to the existing service panel, ensuring compliance with local electrical code and clean energy backfeed to the grid.
• Permitting & Compliance: Fully designed and approved under LADWP and city permitting standards, including electrical labeling and inspection readiness.
